In 1973, Paul tied for the Minneapolis City Tournament Actual All-Events Title with Lee Peterson with a 1,922. Also in the 1973 Minneapolis City Tournament, Paul won the Actual Double Title with Jim Sjostrom when they had 1,268. In the 1975 Minneapolis City Tournament while competing for F.R. Lien & Sons Realtors Paul was part of the team that won the Actual Team Title with a 3,063 series. At the 1984 Minneapolis City Tournament while competing for Budweiser, Paul was part of the team that won the Actual Team Title with a 3,167 series. In the 1981 Minneapolis City Tournament Paul won the Actual Doubles Title with Lindy Lundeen when they had 1,253. In the 1998-99 season, Paul was selected to be on the Greater St. Paul 2nd All-City Team. Paul has five CBA (Center Bowlers Alliance) titles, they are: March 1973, April 1973, January 1976, December 1976 and February 1979. Paul was Bowler of the Year in the 1975-76 & 1976-77 seasons. He was on the 2nd team four times; 1972-73 & 1977-78 & 1978-79 & 1979-80. Paul has competed in the American Bowling Congress National Tournament sixteen times through 1987. His high all-events of 2,072 came at the 1981 tournament in Memphis, Tennessee.
