Career Highlights:

• Began his commitment to organized bowling in 1963
• Served as secretary/treasurer of the HiWay 10 Majors League from 1963–1972
• Coordinated and coached the St. Paul ABC Junior Traveling League from 1973–1974
• Coached junior bowlers at Minnehaha Lanes from 2003–2008 and Flaherty’s Arden Bowl from 2008–2020
• Served as secretary/treasurer of the Stars & Stripes League, helping it grow from eight to 22 teams
• Coordinated groups of up to 56 bowlers for Minnesota State Senior Tournament competition
• Helped establish a weekday State Senior Tournament shift to increase participation
• Introduced bowling to elementary-school physical education programs through classroom bowling kits
• Coordinated Flaherty’s “Kids Bowl Free” program, reaching approximately 60 schools annually
• Received the St. Paul USBC Secretary of the Year Award for the 2013–2014 season
• Organized the Centennial High School bowling team and recruited its coaches in 2016
• Coordinated and co-coached the Mounds View High School bowling team
• Dedicated decades of service to expanding youth, high school, league and senior bowling participation throughout the Twin Cities area
